Overview

A Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in the kitchen and food preparation areas. The role supports chefs and kitchen staff by ensuring all utensils, equipment, and workspaces are clean, safe, and ready for use at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper sanitation of all food preparation areas
  • Operate dishwashing machines and cleaning tools
  • Clean kitchen floors,
  • Keep kitchen storage areas neat and organized
  • Assist in arranging supplies and stock
  • Ensure waste is disposed of correctly
